Chelsea returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday with an astonishing 3-0 victory over Leicester City.

The Blues, whose 13-game winning streak was halted by Tottenham last week, recovered in grand style at the King Power Stadium thanks to a Marcos Alonso brace coupled with another from Pedro.

Even without the league’s top scorer, Diego Costa, who missed the trip to the defending champions, Antonio Conte’s side still had enough firepower to demolish their host.

However, their triumph happened at the expense of Super Eagles youngster, Wilfred Ndidi, who was making his Premier League debut for the Foxes.

Ndidi started for the first time in front of his home fans since his £15million move from Genk – with compatriot, Ahmed Musa, also in action.

The duo who completed the entire duration of the encounter could do little as Victor Moses emerged victorious with the Blues.

Chelsea remained top with 52 points while Leicester’s miserable title defence continues as they now drop to 15th with 21 points.

The sides will face Hull City and Southampton respectively on Sunday next week.
