Actor Chidi Mokeme has revealed that he postponed celebrating his mother’s birthday to honour his colleague Kate Henshaw’s mother who died the same day.
The 52-year-old made this known in an Instagram post on Wednesday in which he shared a video of himself and Kate having fun.
In the video, a happy Kate could be seen dancing as Chidi recorded and hailed her.
The Shanty Town actor stated that he paused celebrating his mother’s birthday as a show of respect for his colleague’s mother.
He wrote: “#WCW@k8henshaw. Mi Amor 💙It Was My Mum’s Birthday On The Day Your Mum Passed. Naturally, I Had To Jettison The Hype, And Not Even Mention It, So We Can Grieve And Pay Appropriate Respect To The Faithfully Departed. I’m Glad Mum Is In A Good Place And You’re Back, Honoring Her Memories, With Your Boisterous Contagious Energy 🕊️🙏
