40tified Music singer, Chidinma Ekile, on Wednesday released a new song titled ‘Yanga’ to celebrate clocking 27.
The 2010 Project Fame West Africa winner also released a video for the love song.
Following what is fast becoming a trend for artists to release a new song in celebration of their birthdays; Chidinma delivers the ultimate follow up to her previous song, ‘Love Me’, which was released earlier in the year.
The video of ‘Yanga’ comes with clear instructions on how the singer wants to be loved, and this time, the petite singer who is also called Ms Kedike is not just demanding to be loved, she wants her lover to show her off to the world.
Produced by Oscar, ‘Yanga’, Chidinma handlers say, will “in no time become the anthem for ladies who want their men to show them off and want public display of affection (PDA).”
Talking public display of affection, Chidinma on Tuesday sent a birthday greeting to Kiss Daniel whom she is reported to be dating.
She referred to him by his real name, Oluwatobiloba, and added a yellow heart emoji in a picture posted on Instagram.
Speculation that the two are dating started in March after the ‘Woju’ singer shared a video showing Chidinma sitting on a bed playing with her phone and laughing as he filmed her.
Speaking shortly thereafter in an interview with PUNCH, Chidinma said “I don’t like to speak about my relationship or love life in public. There is nothing to talk about me and Kiss Daniel; people can say anything they want to say. Whether I am in a relationship with him or not, everyone will get to know later.”
