Child actor, Olamide David, passed away on Monday at the age of 14.
The 2015 Best of Nollywood Awards Best Kid Actor was reportedly playing football with his friends on Sunday when he was accidentally kicked in the stomach by another player.
People around rushed him to the General Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos after he fell down and complained of pains. Unfortunately, he died hours later.
Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola, was the first to announce his death on social media.
“Death where is your sting? Olamide David my lead character in Cobweb, why does it have to be now? Why,” the grieving thespian wrote.
Actress, Mercy Aigbe, also shared her condolences, “OMGOD!!!! This is so sad! May the Lord give his parents fortitude to bear the loss *so sad.”
Olamide starred alongside Ayo Adesanya, Uti Nwachkwu, Funsho Adeolu, Mary Lazarus and Saheed Balogun in Foluke Daramola’s latest movie, Cobweb.
