Multiple award-winning Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has been spotted with Canadian rapper, Drake, as well as Hollywood actress, Halle Berry, and American film and television producer, Tonya Lewis Lee, at the Oscars after-party organised by Vanity Fair.
Nigerian public health doctor and writer, Ike Anya, on Monday uploaded pictures from the party on Instagram with the caption “@chimamanda_adichie with Drake, Halle Berry & Tonya Lewis Lee #vfoscars.”
The Oscars award ceremony and after-party were held at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles on Sunday.
Other celebs at the party include Miley Cyrus, Kendall Jenner, Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell, Jennifer Garner, Lisa Bonet, Kerry Washington and Emma Watson.
In a related development, Black Panther stars, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira, recently confirmed their starring roles in a TV adaptation of Chimamanda’s novel, Americanah.
Lupita plays the lead character, while Danai will write the show and also star in it.
