Award-winning writer Chimamanda Adichie has thanked fans for their support in her time of grief.
The 43-year-old lost her father Prof. James Adichie on June 10.
He was 88 years old.
“For the sympathy, the kindness, the empathy, the wise simple words, the sharing of your own grief: THANK YOU,” Chimamanda wrote in an Instagram post on Monday.
Late Adichie was the first Nigerian professor of statistics.
He was buried on October 9 in Abba, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
