Actor Chinedu Ikedieze could not hold back his tears on Friday over the death and burial of his colleague Ada Ameh.
Ada was buried in her hometown in Ogobia, Otukpo in Benue State.
Chinedu posted a video of Ada arriving in a casket at her compound.
Captioning the video posted on Instagram, an emotional Chinedu wrote with crying emojis, “So this is true?”
The actor played the role of Ada’s son in the Africa Magic series The Johnsons.
Before the burial, The Johnsons cast held a night of tributes for Ada at the Amphi Theater Freedom Park, Marina, Lagos on Thursday, August 18.
Chinedu described Ada as “loving, kind, cheerful, funny and down to earth.”
Ada died on Sunday, July 17, two years after the death of her only daughter Ladi.
Before her death, the actress revealed she had been dealing with mental illness following the death of her loved ones.
She spoke about her ordeal in an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown on Your View TV show published on Friday, July 1.
According to The Johnsons actress, she had been depressed for years and her daughter Ladi’s death made it worse because Ladi was her best friend, and sister and it felt like her world had crumbled.
The 48-year-old also disclosed that she lost six siblings before Ladi died.
