Kano Pillars has revealed the circumstances that led to the death of ex-player, Chinedu Udoji.
Udoji, 28, featured in the 1-1 stalemate against former side, Enyimba on Sunday.
According to the ex-Nigerian champions, the player was involved in an auto crash after visiting his former teammates.
The club also confirmed that the incident occurred on the club road, Kano.

Udoji joined Enyimba in 2009 and captained the People’s Elephants for five years before moving to Pillars.
As skipper, he led the club to two league titles as well as a brace of Federation Cup honours.
