Big Brother Naija season 9 housemate Chinwe, from the pair Zinwe, has issued a stern warning to her colleagues, making it clear that she will not be reduced to a maid in the house.
Chinwe voiced her frustrations on Thursday morning about housemates who fail to clean up after cooking. She made it clear to her colleagues that she won’t be taking on the role of doing all the kitchen chores.
“Will I go and wash the pots for the people that cook? I haven’t slept since last night, my head hurts. I didn’t come here to do housegirl work for kitchen,” she fumed.
Chinwe emphasised that there was an agreement among the housemates, those who cook should clean up after themselves. “The thing is that we reached an agreement that if you cook, you clean up after yourself. So how do I now tell people that are meant to assist for communal cooking to go and clean up after people that cook individually?” she added.
The Big Brother Naija season 9 edition features 14 pairs of housemates, totaling 28 contestants, all vying for the N100 million grand prize. The show is expected to run for 10 weeks, with viewers promised new twists and entertainment throughout the season.
