Nollywood actors Chioma Akpotha and Alexx Ekubo have traveled to Dubai for the premiere of Funke Akindele’s movie Omo Ghetto The Saga.
Chioma shrared a picture of herself in an Omo Ghetto tee shirt on Instagram on Tuesday.
She said her picture was taken by Alexx.
“Guess who’s headed your way DUBAI !!! C. H. O. M. M. Y. C. H. O. K. O,” she wrote.
Alexx shared a picture of himself at the airport on Instagram.
He said, “Me & @vintagedeluxeinteriors don kukuma leave the Nigeria for una.”
Funke, her husband Abdulrasheed Bello, professionally known as JJC Skillz and her twin boys are also in Dubai.
They both shared pictures of themselves at KIZA Dubai, a pan-African restaurant on Instastories.
Omo Ghetto The Saga will make history when it becomes the first Nigerian movie to premiere in the United Arab Emirates on January 21.
It was premiered in Nigeria on December 25 and has grossed N373milllion in three weeks according to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN).
The prequel Omo Ghetto was released in 2010 starring Funke Akindele, Rachel Oniga, Taiwo Hassan, Yinka Quadri, and Eniola Badmus.
The movie is based on societal vices by a women-dominated gang.
