Veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu has paid tribute to his late colleagues and other prominent figures in Nigeria.

The actor took to his Instagram page on Thursday to share a video in which he honoured the memory of several deceased individuals, offering his prayers for their souls to rest in peace.

In the video, the actor expressed his condolences, saying, “May your soul rest in peace,” as he remembered those who have recently passed away.

He captioned the post, “Rest in peace to everyone we have lost recently in the entertainment industry. Type RIP in the comment section below.”

Among the personalities Agu mentioned were John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, Zulu Adigwe, Amechi Munagor, Cynthia Okereke, Onyeka Onwenu, Junior Pope, and Herbert Wigwe.

Chiwetalu concluded the tribute by praying for the “faithful departed” in his native dialect.

Recall that in 2022, the 68-year-old narrated how he almost died from a ‘spiritual attack’, attributing his survival to ‘God’.
