Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has reacted to the sex video of the Chrisland female people and her classmates.
Ebuka in a Twitter post on Monday described the news as ‘terrible’.
“Not a single break from terrible news all around, even on a holiday weekend,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, police in Lagos said they have launched probe into the alleged gang-rape of a student (name withheld) of Chrisland Schools during a trip to Dubai, UAE for the World School Games.
The police also said they will likely engage the assistance of the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) to get to the roots of the incident, which occurred in March 2022.
Lagos police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin made this known in a statement on Monday.
“The attention of the Lagos State Police Command has been drawn to an alleged rape video purportedly depicting students of Chrisland School Lagos, going viral on social media,” the statement read.
