Christian music composer Jude Nnam regains freedom from kidnappers

Christian music composer Jude Nnam has been released by his abductors.

Nnam was kidnapped last Thursday evening around 6 p.m. in Umunnachi, Anambra State while travelling for a church function.

It was gathered that the instrumentalist was freed on Wednesday after nearly one week in captivity.

His family announced his release in a post on his Facebook page.

“The victory sound is here. Our dear ‘Ancestor’ Dr. (sir) Jude Nnam is back to continue the work of the Lord!!!” the post read.

Known widely as ‘Ancestor,’ Nnam serves as the national music director for the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and is a member of the National Liturgical Commission at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN).
