The Church of Satan has replied Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga, who called Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), a man of Satan after he was accused of rape by Busola Dakolo.
Mrs Dakolo in an interview with Chude Jideonwo on YNaija TV revealed that as a teenager in the Divine Delight Club, the precursor to COZA, she was groomed and raped by the pastor.
The mother of three said it happened while she was a 16-year-old secondary school student living with her parents in Ilorin, Kwara State.
In a tweet to support Dakolo, MI Abaga, 37, said on Friday that “if a so called Man of God decides to rape Gods children!!! He must be called what he actually is.. a man of Satan!!!!”
In reaction to his tweet, the Church of Satan mocked ‘men of God’ for blaming ‘a supernatural enemy for their disgusting actions’.
“However it’s exclusively men who consider themselves “of God” who try to blame a supernatural enemy for their disgusting actions, and the church covers for them, allowing them to do it time and time again. Imaginary friends and enemies get us nowhere,” the church said.
The church has developed a penchant for engaging Nigerian personalities. It recently clashed with a former aviation minister, Femi-Fani Kayode.
