Buba Barnabas Luka, aka ClassiQ, has apologised to Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, who was banned by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) for hugging and cuddling him in his ‘I Love You’ music video.
The Bauchi-born rapper posted a formal apology on his Instagram page on Monday.
He said “I would like to make an unreserved public apology to Rahama Sadau for the consequences she is facing for appearing in my video”.
The Bayero University, Kano graduate also apologised to his fans, followers and everyone that was negatively affected by the music video.
He, however, insists “My work is never directed at any particular person or group. It is therefore, not intended to offend, ridicule or challenge any standards that have been set anywhere”
