The defendant, a resident of No. 5, JC. Awo St., Ogudu, Lagos, pleaded innocence of the offence.

The Prosecutor, ASP Edet Okoi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence sometime in Oct. at No. 2, Idita St., Lagos Island.

He said that the defendant stole goods worth N25 million belonging to his employer, Mr Adekunle Moshood, the Director of Moshadek Company Limited.

Okoi alleged that the defendant diverted the goods that Unilever Nigeria supplied to Moshadek.
