Miss Universe Nigeria Mitchel Ihezue has reacted to the controversy around her age ahead of her wedding to businessman and politician Nicholas Ukachukwu.
Ihezue is said to be 26 while Ukachukwu also known as Ikukuoma is reportedly 57.
Ukachukwu’s first wife Nnenna died in a car accident in 2020 at the age of 41. Their union produced five sons.
He is a former member of the House of Representatives where he represented Abuja Area Council. Since leaving the Green Chamber in 2003, he has unsuccessfully tried to represent Anambra South Senatorial District at the Senate and also get elected as governor of the state.

Following the focus on her age, Ihezue wrote in Igbo in an Instagram Story post on Tuesday that the clock has been set backwards on her.
“My face after seeing 26 everywhere. Unu alaghachi wona’m clock azu. Is baiday a joke?” she wrote.
The former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2017 made history as the first woman to claim both prestigious beauty titles. Ihezue faced stiff competition, triumphing over 36 other talented contestants to secure the coveted Miss Universe crown at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos on Sunday, September 10.
The Imo State indigene represented Nigeria at the 72nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant held in El Salvador on November 18, 2023.
