Nigerian British news anchor at Cable News Network (CNN), Zain Asher, has revealed that she is to be a mother soon as she is expecting her baby boy.
In a post to Instagram on Monday, Zain shared a photo of her son’s just completed room while revealing that she is bursting with excitement.
“Baby’s room is finally ready! I’m bursting with excitement. Not long now until our prince is here,” she wrote.
Asher was born in Balham, London Borough of Wandsworth, England, to Nigerian parents.
She is the younger sister of actor Chiwetel Ejiofor. She is of Igbo ancestry and hails from Enugu state, Ezeagu LGA, Nigeria.
The 34-year-old got married to Steve Peoples last September, they tied the knot in New York.
Asher joined CNN as a business correspondent based in New York City in 2013. In addition to financial reporting for CNN, she also had a monthly column in Money Magazine.
