Lagos-based comic musician Mukaila Senwele, known for his signature phrase “Koni da fun ebo to se Costay,” has died.
The entertainer, originally from Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, died on Friday night.
A family member disclosed to Royal News that Senwele had shown no signs of illness before his sudden death.
“There was no indication of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening,” the source said.
It was gathered that the family received an emergency call from where Senwele had been with fans.
“Upon arrival, my elder brother (name withheld) and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the source added.
Senwele’s vibrant performances and distinct comedic style earned him admiration, particularly among socialites.
