The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has detected 14 new cases of the coronavirus in the country.
The centre announced in a statement late Thursday that of the 14 persons, one is in Abuja, one is in Bauchi while 12 are in Lagos.
It said: “14 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 1 in FCT, 1 IN BAUCHI & 12 in Lagos
“Of the 14, 6 were detected on a vessel, 3 are returning travellers & 2 are close contacts of confirmed cases.”
There are now 65 confirmed cases, three discharged and one death.
