Commissioner for Health in Lagos, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has visited Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) over the coronavirus pandemic.
The hospital tweeted on Wednesday saying Abayomi visited its facility on Tuesday and commended the management concerning work done to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
“The HCH Lagos State @ProfAkinAbayomi visited LUTH yesterday to appreciate and commend management regarding work done and facilities put in place for the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19),” the tweet read.
LUTH recently denied a report alleging that it turned back a patient who tested positive for COVID-19.
The hospital said on March 27 that such did not happen, adding that it is not a treatment centre for the disease.
