The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 91 new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country.
The agency made the announcement on Wednesday night via Twitter.
Of the 91 new cases, NCDC reported 74 in Lagos, five in Katsina, four in Ogun, two in Delta, two in Edo, and one each in Kwara, Oyo, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and Adamawa.
“As of 11:25 pm 22nd April there are 873 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 197. Deaths: 28,” it tweeted.
Lagos continues to lead the pack with 504 confirmed COVID-19 cases, according to the NCDC.
The FCT follows, albeit distantly, with 119 confirmed cases.
