Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, will on Tuesday unveil the first made-in-Nigeria ventilators as the country makes efforts to stop the coronavirus pandemic.
A spokesman for the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Segun Ayeoyenikan, revealed this on Monday.
The agency has also produced mobile sprayers, which are to be used to disinfect cities and homes in the country.
The Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning recently made the headlines by begging for ventilators from an American billionaire, Elon Musk, via Twitter.
