Nigerians have knocked Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for holding a mega rally in Ibadan, the capital, despite the spread of the coronavirus.
The rally was attended by a teeming crowd including a former vice-chairman (South-West) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George; Bayelsa governor, Douye Diri; and Mr Makinde.
There have been eight cases in Nigeria since the virus broke out last December in Wuhan, China.
Lagos and Ogun State Governments have banned gatherings exceeding 50 persons.
Nigerians on Twitter have begun criticising Makinde for not taking the crisis seriously.
