Reggae singer, Orits Wiliki, has noted that the coronavirus pandemic, is not as devasting in Africa as earlier expected.
The ‘Ten Commandments’ singer said this during an interview with QED TV on Wednesday.
“The good thing is that God who created the earth knew it was time to protect his own, Africa…It is not as devastating as expected… We were thinking that as people were falling on the streets in Italy an America, if it get to Africa it will be a total wipeout but God surprised them…,” he said.
The Ethiopia-native however, warned fans to take precautions to protect themselves from the virus.
“Get used to the new norm. Try as much as possible to wash your hands…No hugging, no shaking. If you want to shake hands, you chop knuckle…,” he said raising a fist.
