Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri says voting should be scrapped in Nigeria until the death sentence is handed down to politicians that embezzle public funds.
The 32-year-old made this known in an Instagram post on Thursday, adding that politicians should not be trusted.
“We should abolish voting in Nigeria until death sentence laws are given to politicians and public servants who misuse Nigeria’s funds. I said what I said. Correct me if I’m wrong and tell me what your government has done for you,” she captioned the post.
Ruth added: “Based on what I have seen in the past, any incoming president or governor campaigning for your vote and promising you a better Nigeria is a liar!!!”
Earlier this year, the movie star revealed on Instagram her desire to be the richest actress in Nollywood someday.
