The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday, granted the request by the founder of DAAR Communications Plc, Raymond Dokpesi, to travel abroad for medical treatment.
DAAR Communications Plc is the parent company of AIT and Ray Power FM.

Justice John Tsoho granted the application filed by defence lawyer, Kanu Agabi, and adjourned till January 21, 22 and 23 for the defendant counsel to open defence.
Dokpesi had urged the court in the application to order for the release of his international passports in custody of the deputy chief registrar of the Federal High Court, Abuja, to allow him travel to the American Hospital, Dubai; London Hospital in the UK and to Liberia to attend his honourary award by the Liberian government on December 8.
Dokpesi is being accused by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of receiving N2.1 billion from former national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki, in 2015.
He pleaded not guilty to the revised seven-count charge.
The defendant had earlier been arraigned before the court on a six-count charge.

The court had on July 2 granted Dokpesi leave to travel but adjourned till November 12 for continuation.
Justice Tsoho granted the application on the conditions that the passport would be returned to the deputy chief registrar of the court, and that Dokpesi produces two guarantors who must be persons of repute.
