Former governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu, has been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment after being found guilty of N7.65 billion fraud.
The Federal High Court in Lagos, on Thursday, found him and his company, Slok Nigeria Limited, guilty of the entire 39 counts filed against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Justice Mohammed Idris ordered the winding up of the company listed as third defendant in the case.
