The Federal High Court, Abuja, will on January 20, 2020, deliver judgment in the suit seeking the disqualification of Kogi State Governor-elect, Yahaya Bello, over alleged double registration as a voter.
Justice Inyang Ekwo fixed the date on Friday after taking the arguments of all the parties in the matter, adding that he needed to give it accelerated hearing.

Mr Bello told the court that he was ready to defend himself in the allegation of double registration framed brought against him by the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Natasha Akpoti.
Bello won the election conducted on November 16 to guarantee a second term in office.
In the suit, Akpoti, however, listed the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Bello as 1st, 2nd and 3rd defendants respectively.
