Cristiano Ronaldo has celebrated the first birthday of his youngest daughter Alana, with a sweet social media post.
“Happy birthday, dear princess! One year of bliss! Love you!” he shared, along with a picture of her older twin siblings.
His girlfriend and Alana’s mother Georgina Rodriguez, writing in Spanish, also shared the same picture and revealed how it had been a “year full of love and happiness” and “one more blessing in the wonderful family that we have built with so much love”.
“We are fortunate, we are blessed by God and very grateful to him for what we have in life. Thank you all for your support always, the affection that you show us and for the congratulations so beautiful for Alana,” she added.
Georgina, 23, and Cristiano, 33, however, do not appear to be spending Alana’s first birthday with her, as they touched down in London on Monday morning with the footballer’s eldest son Cristiano Jnr.
Cristiano’s twins Eva and Mateo also did not appear to be with them.
Landing not long before 1am, they then made their way to the swanky Bulgari Hotel, probably quite weary from their first class travel.
Cristiano opened a restaurant, Zela, in Covent Garden on 1 October which may explain the midnight jaunt; perhaps he’s doing a Gordon Ramsay and checking in to make sure things are ticking along?
Speaking to Hello! after the birth of Alana, Georgina said that the arrival of Alana had “definitely” brought the couple closer, adding: “We’re happier together than ever.”
“The children are our joy,” she said. “We wake up and the first thing we do is hug and kiss them, put them in their little chairs and watch them while they have their breakfast, make sure they have everything they need, and so on all day long.”
“I’m very proud of him,” she said of Cristiano.
“When we got home from hospital, he’d organised a surprise dinner, with all our nearest and dearest. I felt like the luckiest woman in the world.
“I have found love. We complement each other very well. We have a beautiful relationship and when I have him beside me, I have everything. I feel loved and cared for. Love conquers all.”
The Portuguese superstar scored one of the goals as Juventus defeated AC Milan on Sunday.
