Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, has reportedly lost her father, Jorge Rodriguez.
The convicted drug trafficker died in his native Argentina after a long battle with illness, Mirror reports.
Georgina had posted a birthday photo on Instagram earlier this week from Buenos Aires and wrote: “Coincidences of life. I land in the country I was born in at the same time and the day of my birth 25 years ago.”
Although she did not give a hint of the reason for her trip, reports say it might be her first trip to Argentina since her dad was kicked out of Spain in 2013 and banned from returning after serving ten years jail term for drug trafficking
Celeb Spanish magazine, Hola, reported on its website that she flew to Argentina following the death of her father at the age of 70.
He is said to have died from complications related to a stroke he suffered some years ago.
