Celebrity disk jockey, Florence Otedola, known DJ Cuppy, has hit back at a critic who suggested that she “enjoy her father’s money.”
The 27-year-old replied the comment, which was left on post she shared on Instagram on Monday.
She wrote, “Enjoy your data.”
Cuppy has previously denied using her father’s influence to get ahead in the industry.
In an interview with E-Daily published in February 2018, she made it clear that her success had nothing to do with her privileged background, unlike fellow singer, Davido, whose father is also a billionaire businessman.
She said, “The only difference between Davido and I is that he decided to use the influence as an advantage from an early stage.
So David was like I am ‘omo baba olowo’ (OBO), take it or leave it! I’m not that kind of person, he was smart though, because before you can even do anything, he has already told you he is the son of a millionaire.”
