Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says his administration might ease the 24-hour curfew on Friday to allow residents restock food supplies and other essential commodities.
The state has since 4pm Tuesday been placed on curfew to curtail the arson and widespread violence that has followed the peaceful #EndSARS protest against police brutality.
“Once we see the streets are cleared up and all the agitation and high nerves have gone down, we might slow down the curfew by tomorrow (Friday) or next tomorrow (Saturday) at the latest,” Mr Sanwo-Olu said on Thursday morning.
