Daddy Freeze knocks COZA church for inviting Majek Fashek to Christmas concert

Cool FM presenter, Daddy Freeze, on Tuesday, berated Abuja-based Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) for inviting reggae musician, Majek Fashek, to perform at its Christmas concert.

The broadcaster, who has become a thorn in the flesh of Nigerian Pentecostal pastors, took to Instagram to query the church’s decision, asking if secular musicians can perform in a mosque, Buddhist or Hindu temple.

“I am still searching for the sense in this, I am a huge Majek fan, but do I want to see him perform in a church? How did we get here? Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought Christian altars are supposed to be sacrosanct,” he wrote.

I am still searching for the sense in this. I am a huge Majek fan, but do I want to see him perform in a church? – How did we get here? – Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought christian altars are supposed to be sacrosanct… – Can a secular musician like Majek perform in a mosque? Have you ever seen an artiste like Majek perform in a Buddhist or Hindu temple? Can Majek perform inside the Okija shrine? or the soppona or ayelala shrine? – If other religions value their altars and keep them sacred, is it out of place to suggest we do the same? – We need to start asking ourselves these questions and we need to start asking them now! ~FRZ – 1st Corinthians 14:40 KJV [40] Let all things be done decently and in order. – #FreeTheSheeple – Story from lindaikejisblog.com – ◄ Philippians 3 ► [17] Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. [18] For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. [19] Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.

Daddy Freeze was the subject of a recent tweet by Pastor Leke Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) who thanked him for inadvertently contributing to the church’s growth with his anti-tithing crusade.

Freeze, who derives pleasure from knocking tithe-collecting churches, referred to RCCG as a family business and asked Adeboye to provide bank details to prove that there has been an increase in tithing.

Majek, on the other hand, is on a journey of recovery from a devastating alcohol addiction.

COZA is led by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
