Daddy Freeze receives message from YNaija over Biodun Fatoyinbo interview

Controversial radio presenter, Daddy Freeze, has shared a message he received from media house, YNaija, over reports that he plans to interview Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Fatoyinbo had stepped down as senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) last Monday after outrage over rape allegations against him by Busola Dakolo, wife of singer, Timi Dakolo.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Daddy Freeze shared a screenshot of a message from YNaija where they asked the broadcaster to confirm if he was going to interview Fatoyinbo.

The message said that the interview was part of a series of move by the pastor to control the narrative on the rape allegations.

Responding, Daddy Freeze wrote: “I got this message from Ynaija at 6:59am this morning, here is my response to them. From the very first video I did on this issue, I made it clear that my platform was available to BOTH parties in the spirit of truth and fairness as the scripture teacher that I pride myself to be and brandish with boldness on the bio of all my social media accounts.
(John 7:24, James2:1, James2:9, Deuteronomy 1:17).

“Also, I personally find the line ‘controlling the narrative’ somewhat mischievous, especially when it is coming from what is supposed to be a world class media house, which in my opinion should moreso concern itself with having an ‘equitable narrative’ as against suggesting that hearing from the other party would mean ‘controlling the narrative’.

“I do not condone rape or abuse of religious office in any way or form and agree that when an activity seems to raise threats of harm to humans, precautionary measures should be taken even if some cause and effect relationships are not fully established scientifically,” he wrote in parts.

I got this message from Ynaija at 6:59am this morning, here is my response to them. – From the very first video I did on this issue, I made it clear that my platform was available to BOTH parties in the spirit of truth and fairness as the scripture teacher that I pride myself to be and brandish with boldness on the bio of all my social media accounts. (John 7:24, James2:1, James2:9, Deuteronomy 1:17) – Also, I personally find the line 'controlling the narrative' somewhat mischievous, especially when it is coming from what is supposed to be a world class media house, which in my opinion should moreso concern itself with having an 'equitable narrative' as against suggesting that hearing from the other party would mean 'controlling the narrative'. – I do not condone rape or abuse of religious office in any way or form and agree that when an activity seems to raise threats of harm to humans, precautionary measures should be taken even if some cause and effect relationships are not fully established scientifically. – This notwithstanding, we must judge righteous judgement. (John7:24) In the court of law, both parties would be entitled to a proper defense team and the right to a fair hearing. Since this matter is already being judged before the court of public opinion, I'd like to suggest that those rights be maintained. ~FRZ – #FreeTheSheeple #IStandWithChrist #IStandWithTruth #IStandWithTheScriptures #Justice4All – ◄ John 7:24 ► New Living Translation Look beneath the surface so you can judge correctly.” – ◄ James 2:1 ► My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. – ◄ Deuteronomy 1:17 ► New International Version Do not show partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of anyone, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you, and I will hear it."

Daddy Freeze had said that he doesn’t mind being called an anti-Christ because of his take on issues in Christianity in a report published on punchng.com on Sunday.
