Galala singer Daddy Showkey has appealed to the public to support colleague Baba Fryo who recently called for financial help.
Fryo born Friday Igweh had released a video on Instagram last weekend calling on the public to save him from depression.
“I’m having serious depression. Igweh family, friends, Delta State Government, Lagos and Rivers government save me,” he had said.
However, Showkey whose real name is John Asiemo shared a video on Wednesday on Instagram of Baba Fryo, thanking all who came to his rescue.
“You are a brave Man for coming out, truly some people will die in shame. They will not come out to say their problems because of what people will say, you are a brave man,” the Galala singer wrote, with bank details for the public to support Fryo.
Baba Fryo hit fame in the 90s with his popular song ‘Dem Go Dey Pose’.
Fryo grew up in Ajegunle, Lagos, same neighbourhood with Daddy Showkey.
