Singer Daddy Showkey on Saturday celebrated founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations Prophet TB Joshua on the latter’s 58th posthumous birthday.
The 50-year-old Ajegunle born ghetto soldier posted his birthday message on Instagram.
“Happy Birthday TB I will celebrate you no matter what. You are a man with a good heart. Anybody can say what they like about you. For me, you are a good man and you are my friend. I will not mourn you; I will celebrate you. Happy Birthday TB Joshua,” Daddy Showkey wrote.
The singer’s message came after that of former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode who described Joshua as friend and brother.
“Had you not gone to the Lord a few days ago, I would have called you early this morning to wish you a happy 58th birthday.
“Alas, this was not to be because you left us. You were by far the wisest, kindest, gentlest and most profound man I ever knew. We miss you already. May your soul rest in peace,” Fani-Kayode wrote in a message also posted on Instagram.
Joshua died on Saturday, June 5, exactly a week to his birthday.
Reacting to news of the death, Daddy Showkey wrote in an Instagram post on Sunday, June 6, “I can’t believe this until I saw this, Emmanuel!!!!!!!!”
TB Joshua shared a video two days before his death, saying it will not be easy to celebrate his birthday under the present global condition.
