Veteran singer John Odafe, better known as Daddy Showkey, could not hold back his tears over the shocking death of actress Ada Ameh.
Ada’s death was confirmed by the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas on Monday morning.
According to The Nation, Ada slumped and died on Sunday.
Reacting to the tragic loss in an Instagram post on Monday, Daddy Showkey recalled how Ada Ameh saved his life before her death. He posted an emotional video, recounting the moments she shared with the actress.
The musician also posted a photo of himself and Ada with the caption: “Oh My God my Sister is gone, I always tell you that I will be there for because you are always there for me, you saved my life when down, Oh my sister rest well in the Lord’s hands. Ada no be so oooo We talk am ooo”.
Before her death, the 48-year-old shared a video of her eating with her friends around 12:53 pm on Sunday on her official Instagram page.
“Happy new week fams. This trip for my friend’s elder sister is just an enjoyment galore. Thanks my darling sister phil. I really enjoyed myself!! God bless my love. May dreams come true in Jesus Christ name,” she captioned the video.
Ada Ameh died two years after the death of her daughter Aladi.
