Akogun of Ife-Olukotun Isiaq Ajibola, a former managing director of Daily Trust Newspaper, has lost his mother Fatima Yusuf-Ajibola.
Aged 110, she died on Tuesday night in her home town, Ife Olukotun, in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State after a brief illness.
The centenarian was a devoted Muslim who left behind many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
According to an announcement by the family, she will be buried at 11 am on Wednesday, in accordance with Islamic injunctions.
The third-day fidau prayer in her honour would hold on Friday, February 2, 2024, at her residence in Ife-Olukotun, Kogi State.
