Actress Dakore Egbuson has penned down a touching tribute to her cousin, on-air personality, Onome Oyaide also known as Bigtyme, whose death was announced on Sunday.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Dakore uploaded a photo of the deceased and a throwback picture of herself, her younger brother Timini Egbuson, Bigtyme and another person.
She stated that she was shocked over the news and promised to take care of his wife Funmi and the children he left behind.
The actress also advised her fans to be careful, saying that the day is not promised to anyone.
“I’ve been struggling to post this because that means it’s real, that it’s true. The world knew you as “Big Tyme” but I knew you as Onome. One of my favorite humans who happens to be my 1st cousin, my brother indeed. I’m in proper shock but I know that you are resting. Don’t worry bro, Funmi and the kids will be fine. Your army of soldiers (me included) will be on standby, they will never walk alone.
“Omooooo!!! This life? Person need to dey careful, the day is not promised to anyone so let’s all continue to do what we can with as little stress as possible if you can and love genuinely. Not purely for gain but because it’s the thing to do.
I miss you bro, we all miss you BIG!!! Rest in perfect peace and power, my friend, my brother,” she wrote.
