Music duo, Mad Melon and Mountain Black, popularly known as Danfo Drivers, have accused Tekno of sampling their song ‘Kpolongo’, released in 2008, in his latest song, ‘Jogodo’.
This was revealed during an interview with Wazobia TV at the Headies on Saturday.
The interview was posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Tekno dey owe us money o… Tekno dey make us vex and if I catch am e no go like me… you just come dey carry pessin song dey go dey sing,” Mountain Black said.
He went on to state that the only reason this happened was because they were not in Lagos but now that they’re back Tekno should be ready for him.
“God save am because we no dey Lagos, now set we don enter Lagos, na because of Tekno we don come here… if I catch am…”
According to the Ajegunle stars, what is most painful is the fact that no credit was given to them or permission taken from them.
Tekno and his management were yet to react to the allegation as at the time of filing this report.
