Veteran reggae and dancehall musician Daniel Wilson has released a new album titled ‘Timeless’.
The artiste shared the news in a Facebook post on Tuesday morning.
It is his 10th studio album.
Joking that he will be competing for the microphone with those young enough to be his children, Daniel said the album is a collector’s item.
“My new album TIMELESS I dare say is a collector’s item, featuring remakes of some of the major hits I had made 30 to 37 years ago and mixed with a few new songs that are an exhibition of my current music interests and experiences,” he wrote in the post.
Daniel who has been off the scene for a while to concentrate on other businesses, promised that listeners will be delighted to hear his new songs.
“Please renew your commitment to this musician who may have created some beauty and truth through his music for YOUR enjoyment while you were growing up by downloading this album or streaming it repeatedly at least.
“I am full of gratitude already in advance for your support and I thank you immensely,” he added in the Facebook post.
Daniel Wilson was popular in the ‘80s and ‘90s with hits like ‘Mr Ragamuffin’ and ‘Original Bad Boy’.
A staunch supporter of former President Goodluck Jonathan, most of his recent public comments have been criticism of incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
