Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has described his late brother-in-law Dapo Ojora as a “force of nature” who was loyal to family, team and friends.
Born in 1962, Ojora, who was fondly called Baba Polo and Dog Whisperer, died on December 11, 2020, after a shooting incident at his Ikoyi, Lagos home. He was Mrs Saraki’s older brother.
Marking the third anniversary of his death on Monday, Saraki wrote on Instagram, “Dapo Ojora, my dear brother, was a force of nature. On the polo field, his drive propelled him forward and his competitive spirit roared. He was, above all, a man of loyalty – to his family, his team, his friends, and the values he held dear.

“Today, as we celebrate his memory, we do so with a heavy heart — this is because the impact Dapo had on every single life he touched is immeasurable.

Ojora was buried at the Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos on December 22, 2020.
He was the second son of corporate guru Adekunle Ojora to die within 10 years. Adegboyega Ojora aka Gbegi died on April 10, 2011.
