Former England footballer, David Beckham, has been banned from driving for six months after he admitted to using a phone while driving a car.
The 43-year-old Manchester United star was spotted by a member of the public using his phone while driving in public in November 2018.
Prosecutor Matthew Spratt said Beckham was photographed by a member of the public in “slowly moving traffic” using his phone.
He said: “Instead of looking straight forward, paying attention to the road, he appeared to be looking at his lap.”
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and pled guilty to the charge.
