Pop musician Davido has been accused of assaulting a photographer identified as Kenny Egbuke in The Gambia.
The FIA singer was in The Gambia for a concert on Monday alongside label mate Dremo.
According to reports on Tuesday, trouble started after a female fan approached Davido for a photograph while he was eating.
The 26-year-old rebuked the fan aggressively, attracting Mr Egbuke’s attention.
Egbuke reportedly spoke to Davido, urging him to take it easy with the lady.
Davido was angered by the photographer’s advice and threw his cognac glass at Egbuke, allegedly shattering his lips.
Davido was close to shattering his Hennessey bottle on the photographer’s head but bodyguards stepped in to prevent this.
This comes days after Davido warned music blogger Ayo Jaguda not to come to Africa after Mr Jaguda described Davido’s latest single Wonder Woman as “trash.”
