Pop star Davido has posted photos of himself and his partner Chioma Rowland in Qatar ahead of the former’s performance at the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony.
The 30-year-old and Chioma took a break from social media after the shocking death of his son Ifeanyi Adeleke who drowned 13 days after celebrating his third birthday.
On Sunday, Davido made a grand return to the platform with photos of himself and his chef partner smiling at each other.
The photos were also uploaded on Twitter and Facebook.
Fellow celebrities and fans stormed the comment section of the post to express their excitement over the return of the ‘Aye’ star.
Davido was supposed to perform at the World Cup opening ceremony but could not due to his son’s death.
The award winning singer who collaborated with fellow artistes Trinidad Cardona and Aisha on the World Cup soundtrack ‘Better Together’, will be performing at the closing of the tournament today, December 18.
