Pop musician, Davido, has become the most viewed Nigerian artiste on Google streaming platform, YouTube.
The 26-year-old singer has amassed over 500 million views across all his uploads on the platform to achieve this feat.
In January, his hit song, ‘Fall’ beat Yemi Alade’s ‘Johnny’ to become the most viewed Nigerian music video on YouTube.
He then became the first Nigerian artiste to reach over 100 million views on YouTube ahead of Yemi Alade and Tekno.
The DMW boss’ YouTube page also streams the tracks and videos of his label mates including Mayorkun, Peruzzi, and Dremo.
Davido was the first Nigerian artiste to reach one million, two million, five million and nine million followers on photo-sharing platform, Instagram.
His latest single ‘Blow My Mind’ with American singer, Chris Brown, has hit over 1 million views in 20 hours.
On Wednesday, Davido attacked his critics, saying he is hated in the music industry because of his father’s wealth.
