Singer Davido has called for prayers following an attack on worshippers at the St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, by gunmen on Sunday.
The explosion reportedly occurred on the church premises while mass was ongoing, sending worshippers scampering for safety.
Reacting on Twitter, Davido called for prayers for Nigeria as he lamented the attack.
“Jesus take control …. Pray for Nigeria Rip to all the lost souls #Prayforondo,” the singer wrote.
Reacting to the attack, another singer, Peter Okoye wrote: “Owo, Ondo state, Nigeria Why? Why?? Why???”
