Afrobeat singer Davido has called for prayers for music video director TG Omori following news of a failed kidney transplant.
Davido took to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, calling for prayers for Omori.
He wrote, “Prayers up for TG.”
This message of support comes in response to TG Omori’s own request for prayers after revealing that a kidney transplant—donated by his brother—was unsuccessful.
Despite the setback, TG Omori remains hopeful. In a recent Instagram post, the cinematographer reassured his followers, stating, “Will be up soon. I promise!”
Several celebrities, including Kunle Afolayan, Femi Branch and Deyemi Okanlawon, have also expressed their support and prayers for TG Omori during this difficult time.
