Pop star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has demanded for a certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to his uncle Ademola Adeleke for emerging winner of the governorship election held in Osun.
The 29-year-old called out INEC in a post on Twitter on Tuesday.
The Independent National Electoral Commission on Sunday morning declared Ademola Adeleke winner of the election.
INEC returning officer for the poll Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe said Adeleke got a total of 403,371 votes while the incumbent Governor Ggboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress got 375,027 votes.
Davido, who drummed support for his uncle celebrated his victory on social media.
